We already know that Big Media & the Obama Administration are in cahoots, and we know that there are some familial relationships between people in the Obama Administration and some of the big networks.

Before we get to the story, cue Drebin:

From the Daily Caller:

Shulman’s wife Susan L. Anderson is the senior program advisor for the Washington-based nonprofit organization Public Campaign, which claims that it “is laying the foundation for reform by working with a broad range of organizations, including local community groups, around the country that are fighting for change and national organizations whose members are not fairly represented under the current campaign finance system.”

That “broad range of organizations” Public Campaign works with wouldn’t include the IRS, would it?

To top off the curious connection, the CEO of the organization Shulman’s wife works for downplayed conservatives’ concerns:

“There are legitimate questions to be asked about political groups that are hiding behind a 501(c)4 status,” Nyhart said in a statement provide to ABC. “It’s unfortunate a few bad apples at the IRS will make it harder for those questions to be asked without claims of bias.”

As of right now the number of “few bad apples” looks like it could be around 88.

In a related story, the new defense of the Obama administration is that Shulman didn’t visit the White House well over 100 times within a two year period, but rather the number of visits could have been as low as 11.

At about the 1:10 mark of the video below from a House hearing, Virginia Democrat Gerry Connolly mentions to Shulman that he visited the White House 118 times and Shulman didn’t object at all. You’d think the difference between 11 and 118 would be so great that Shulman would have wanted to correct the record:

Even a White House spokesperson wasn’t going to try to spin 157 down to 11:

When asked about Pfeiffer’s tweet in the White House press briefing Friday afternoon, White House Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest did not dispute that Shulman visited the White House at least 157 times, only saying that the president was committed to “transparency” and that most of the meetings Shulman attended involved Obamacare.

Earnest forgot about all the Easter Egg Rolls.

Update: More of your tax dollars at play.
